Hope you enjoyed them, mate!Mystique escribió:So, i'm back again. I had a long christmas holiday![]()

I wasn´t actually planing it, but I´m open to discuss about it...Mystique escribió:When you plan your way to Praha?![]()
I will tell it to my frinds and we can do "a little Calibra meeting"![]()

Cool. Just checked my calendar. Unfortunately, I must work most weekends, but I have a nice weekend off (11, 12, 13 February). Nothing planned yet. However, a visit to a friend in Berlin around the date is outstanding. I´ll arrange both things. Let´s keep this in mind, so we speak about it later.
Anyway, I love Praha

Neither am I. So you have a "Calibra mechanic"?Mystique escribió:About your questions, i will translate it to our "Calibra mechanic" and write you an answer ASAP becouse i don't know all these things. I'm not as good as i want to be![]()

Keep it simple:Mystique escribió:Only one thing, which i spoke with our mechanic was the FLYWHEEL.
We think that is not so good idea becouse of "rpm" of engine.
Light flywheel can do the mess, when you will go down with speed.
Think of a V6 as a one-and-a-half 1.6 engine (6-cylinder, each same size as in a 1.6 litre 4-cylinder). This means one "1.6 stroke" every 120º against one "2.0 stroke" every 180º on any other Calibra.
This engine can only be inherently much smoother than any other 2.0 4-cylinder Calibra, which eliminates the need of a heavy flywheel.

You´re quite right, that´s dangerous... The other choice is buying a specific-designed light flywheel from Courtenay or from Imotec.Mystique escribió:If you will want to decrease the weight of flywheel you have to do it with care and i think that it"s better the have standart flywheel.
I wish I could help you, but nobody that I know has tried this mods on a V6. What I read on the matter from UK people, they said the mod is worth. Only thing I can say is: I thinked very carefully about consequences of replacing the flywheel, and I am very commited to do it. I found good reasons for doing it, but, as far as my knowledge lasts, no fairly true reasons NOT to do it.Mystique escribió:Maybe we are wrong, maybe someone from you already have this "tunning" in c25xe engine, so i would like to have some real PRACTICAL![]()
information.
Cheers!
